Donnie's love for cars, motorcycles, and engines began at a very young age.  For decades, now, he has fueled that love with education, training, and experience in servicing vehicles of all types and eras, keeping up with even the newest of transportation technologies.  As shop owner and president, Donnie strives to lead the Compton Automotive team in pursuit of their own passions for auto repair by encouraging and providing ongoing attendance to state-of-the-art trainings and certification classes.  

In his spare time, Donnie enjoys restoring and riding vintage motorcycles with his two sons. Sneaking away to his garage to tear down a cylinder head, polish old metal parts, or fashion a high performance piston for a small engine, Donnie cannot get enough of his love for engine repair and vehicle up-keep.

In his personal life, Donnie joyfully fills all his many roles: faithful husband, loving father, amazing grandfather, fun uncle, and mischievous brother.  He serves his family, friends, church, and community with a generous heart.

Son of Donnie, Joel Compton continues the family line of automotive expertise with training from Brookhaven College (now Dallas College) and professional experience with 2 large General Motors dealerships in North Texas.  Joel currently holds 15 ASE Automotive Service Excellence certifications.

When not working, Joel is a loving husband and avid dog owner.  He has also recently begun teaching  evening courses in the technician program at Dallas College. Finally, his love of motorcycles takes him to Oklahoma several times a year for weekend vintage motorcycle rides with friends and family.

Our newest member of the team, Rich Jimenez now serves as our full-time service advisor.  Learning the Compton Automotive ways quickly, Rich enjoys his interactions with customers to find the best solutions to their automotive needs.

Rich was born and raised in Dallas and began working on cars with his grandfather at the age of 4. Since then, his love and knowledge of cars have grown to include everything from classic American  cars to modern Asian and European exotic performance vehicles .  You can rest assured Rich will listen, understand, and work with you through any automotive needs or concerns.

Coming to us from a local Nissan dealership service center, Jacob joined the Compton Automotive team in January 2023.  He currently holds five ASE Automotive Service Excellence certifications and is working towards more by the end of the year. Jacob currently continues his training  through Dallas College.

Jacob grew up loving to take things apart and put them back together, enjoying learning  how things work from a young age.  Instead of the prospect of taking on a sit-down job, Jacob decided in high school that he wanted to work with his hands and pursue a more mechanically-minded environment.  From his senior year in high school, he shadowed various tradesmen before finding his passion for automotive work at a dealership.  After enrolling in technician courses to learn all that it takes to be a technician, a friend of Compton Automotive recommended him to us where he has found a great home to grow and reach to his full potential.

Joining our Compton Automotive Team in 2024, Miles brings various automotive experience including work at a Dodge dealership service center. Pursuing his college training in automotive in the evenings, Miles is a Compton Automotive  full service technician by day. 

With a history of family-owned automotive work, Arnie adds the touch of personal care to the work he does for Compton Automotive.  He  is enthusiastic about his work as our general service technician.
